Zaltav has been training her whole like to become a warrior just like her father. She wants to fight for her kingdom but all of that is soon forgotten when her village is pillaged and she is taken by Phoenix, a warrior, who has his own plans for her. Betrayal, love, and war soon fill her life and she is soon left wondering if what she believes in is truly worth fighting for. his eyes trained on the blade as it shimmers among the fire's light. He looks at me, his face still showing no emotion before speaking "How is it that a girl such as yourself was able to defeat two of my best men?" I look at him and realize he is expecting an answer but before I could think of a plausible answer my mouth gets the best of me, as it usually does. "If they are dead then they obviously were not your best." I quickly bite back the rest of the words that so desperately wanted to be let out. It's a good thing I did too because a slight shiver of terror runs through me as he lifts my sword up to the point where the tip of the blade is under my chin and digging uncomfortably into my neck. I look at the mans face, both of us unwilling to show weakness by looking away. He finally spoke in an amused voice, "I'm sure your father would not want you to die by the hand of his sword."
