Chaos has stricken the world that never wakes. Wide eyed natives pray and search for their gods as the fabric of their universe spills out, seam by seam, into a forign land.

Our world has now been corrupted by the likes of these tidal waves of discord that flood all corners of our earth, but where there is destruction, a savior blooms. Eterne BIO, originally a biological investigations organization located in Chicago has linked the act of dreaming with the new phenomena that has caused unimaginable confusion. Appropriately named "Rifts" spill the nonsense of the dream world into our own, which have sparked the creation of the reborn society we now live in. Strict world boundaries, the creation of the new drug Creoxivitas or "The Pill", DreamWatch, and The Image Nation are only a few of the drastic changes that followed this new world order.

The Lavender Butterfly
This is a story of a happily married Chris, and his loving wife Meredith. Chris and Meredith enjoy their life together. Both have well paying jobs, a big house, plenty of good friends, and a healthy, loving marriage. That all changes however, upon a getaway to Florida, when Chris is transformed into a 13-year old girl. Now a girl, she discovers the challenges of being a young teenage girl, and learns to embrace her new identity. This is a full length novel that I've been working on for a while. It's been somewhat of a passion project of mine, and I've poured my heart and soul into it. I would love to hear your feedback. Ever wonder where your dreams go when you wake? Imagine if they drifted off, coalescing with the dreams of others to create a constantly shifting realm of imagination and memories. That is the realm that Shade the Scarecrow and Cole the Wanderer set off to explore. What begins as a simple research expedition escalates into a fight for survival and revelation. ---------------------------------- This is a work based on a D&D campaign I ran with my friends for 4 years (though it is not a "campaign journal"). It's part of a series of novellas I wrote for my players to let them know what their characters are up to. Naturally this means that it was written with the intent that the reader was already familiar with the world. I have done my best to adapt the story for new readers and included footnotes for lore that does not outright speak for itself.
