ummmm post scriptum: the candle symbolizes something! like,eh, idunno.. a certain*cough*relationship*coughcoughrhinkcoughcoughcough* (sorry, I've got a cold, and my asthma isn't helping!). Although, the candle could just as easily symbolize the economy, or the current emotional state your pet dog is in, or the constant sparkle in Link's eye if you want. Idrc:)

Why was he being forced to babysit because of her actions? It didn't make sense to him. And yet, there he was, watching her pour over ancient tomes and scrolls with an almost manic intensity. It was as if she was crafted from clockwork rather than cookie dough. She was a mortal who dared to meddle with forces beyond her comprehension, and now he was stuck watching over her like some glorified guardian. The thought made his divine blood simmer. However, there was something about her that intrigued him, though he'd never admit it. The way her crystalline eyes scanned each ancient page with such intensity as if trying to unravel the very fabric of existence itself. Perhaps that's what irritated him most - her unwavering dedication reminded him of himself, ages ago, before corruption had stripped away such divine fascinations. The god found himself wondering if her mechanical nature was truly a facade or if there was something more beneath that clockwork exterior. The way she meticulously documented every finding, every revelation, with such precise dedication - it was almost admirable, in an infuriating sort of way. But then again, admiration was a dangerous thing for a deity to feel towards a mortal, especially one who had already proven herself capable of disrupting the natural order. so, have you ever wondered what may have happened if george never did what he did at dream and fundy's wedding? this fanfic is an idea of what may have happened. [ this fanfiction includes a plot twist that you will find out pretty early in the story ! ] ------------------------- "isn't it beautiful?" sapnap asks. "yeah. very." we stand there and stare for a bit. and then i ask a question. probably uncalled for. "do you believe in true love?" - george is deeply in love with dream, yet his mind could never let him say anything about it. he didn't think he deserved to feel loved or date anyone. he fights himself everyday, contemplating opening up about his feelings to dream. his only escape from his mind was dream. he had been through tragic things already, his mother had been fighting cancer, yet died from it two weeks earlier. dream had gotten tired of how george never confessed his love, so he moved on. he starting dating fundy. george had no idea, so when he found out, it broke him. he had already been fighting himself because of his mother's death, and his mother was also his bestfriend. with two horrific things happening at once, it could only tie him down more. and then outside of the darkness, the light, sapnap appears. what does sapnap mean to george? is sapnap just someone he gives support to and he gets support back, or is it something more? - please pay attention all the tws, there will be tws at the top of chapters, if you do not follow the tws and are triggered, then that is on your part for not paying attention. tws throughout the story will be - suicidal thoughts - self harm - one sided love ( idk if this counts as a tw ) - mental illnesses - panic/anxiety attacks - dream smp au - - - - - - polarr filter by polarr.kly
