Sequel to the thriller novel, THE CAT MURDERER. Detective Elliot Fletcher and his partner Dr. Lynne Thomas are assigned to a case in Rhinelander, WI eerily similar to the one they solved back home all those years ago. Someone is giving them the runaround, leaving clues from their senior year in high school to reveal someone they once knew...someone they had almost forgotten. In their official first case as real detectives, they have to look into their past to piece the puzzle together.

When Tikka, an eccentric rural root of England, moves to the city to become an expert field reporter, her mysterious past becomes tangled up with a rebellious woman - Mikah- whom she cannot hide her attraction for... All the while, a serial killer is terrorizing the women of the city of London and has sights on them. ~ "You don't think I notice you're afraid of me?" Tikka wears an unfazed expression, immediately replying. She makes sure they both have to acknowledge the pause she takes before saying with a steel gut and honeyed timbre, "I'm not afraid of you." "No?" "No." she backs away smoothly. The glare that meets her next ruminates for a never ending amount of seconds. There's cannibalistic look in the eyes staring back at her. Tikka laughs a little as if in disbelief, genuinely trying to hold back how tickled she is. "Ah." then a sardonic chuckle that isn't hers, "See, I thought there for a moment..." a body crowds just around her neck - significantly more taut with lean muscle she can't see, "you were shaking when we were formally introduced." those blue meet hers again, challenging. Tikka smiles gorgeously, somehow still remaining completely innocent, "Shaking. That's good." Copyright March 2023©️ - ONGOING - Updates every Monday
