And there we were again.
In the same situation.
But this time it's him lying at death's door.
"Don't leave me please." My voice barely a whisper.
His smile was weak, clearly forced. "I won't. I promise."
But he didn't keep his promise. He left me again. I was all alone except for my lovely Rose. I felt an endless pit forming in the place where my heart should've been.
I couldn't feel it there, though. I didn't think I had it anymore.
It left along with him.
