Rachael Ella Frost; sweet, humorous, caring, thoughtful, considerate, and expressive. She is the opposite of how her sister used to be... and still is.

She has grown up in love with her childhood friend Dallas. Separated by several states and several years, with very few visits, the two have become more distant from one another than they have ever been. It doesn't help that Rachael tries to latch on tight to her dream that Dallas might possibly confess romantic feelings mutual to those that she harbors for him.

But now, like always, his romanticism with her is nearly nonexistent.

So when they both finally prepare to go to the same college after so much time apart, far away from either of their homes, what will the new proximity mean for their relationship? What happens when she finds herself dating the one who shows her everything she's never had, but has always hoped for? What happens when reality dampens her down-to-earth spirit?

SLOW UPDATES. This story is improv.

Kitty Cohen and Felicity Campbell are soulmates. Fliss has been sure of this ever since they shared a room their freshman year of college, when their friendship emerged fully-formed the moment they met. They've seen it all together: disastrous house shares; shitty post-grad apartments; too many relationships to count. Now everything's about to change. Kitty is getting married and Fliss didn't think she'd be this heartbroken. Levi's a nice guy. He understands his fiancée's friendship, and he and Fliss get along just fine, but he's just a guy. He isn't special enough for Kitty. But then a shaken Kitty turns up on Fliss's doorstep a few weeks before the big day: the wedding is off. Fliss didn't think she would be so relieved to hear that. Weird. The honeymoon is all paid for, though, so Kitty has a proposition: a girls' trip to Las Vegas, just the two of them and two weeks of drinking and overheating and exploring everything Sin City has to offer. Why not, right? Fliss has barely left the east coast and it's about time she took advantage of her company's unlimited PTO. It'll be nice to have an uninterrupted vacation with her favorite person. Then they get to their all-expenses-paid honeymoon suite and the hotel thinks they're married and it's easier to go along with it than explain the situation. It's not like it matters, right? It's a bit of fun. Until, slowly but surely, Fliss realizes her feelings are more than platonic. Maybe they always have been. And now she's stuck sharing a bed with her best friend, who is pretending to be her wife. © Elle Carrigan 2023

{CURRENTLY UNPUBLISHED} 10/2/25 Edit: this book has been removed from Wattpad, but the characters live on in a published series titled The Wildflower Series, which can be found on Amazon and in bookstores. Alive at Night, Awake at Dawn, Attached at Heart are available now. Already at Risk, which follows Collins' brother Cameron, is coming on October 16th. Thank you so much! What sucks more than being rejected by the girl of your dreams? Finding out afterward that she's moving in with you. **** The night that Beau Martin spends with Collins Bryant is the best one of his life. He wants to repeat it. Over and over and over again. Collins, on the other hand, is all too eager cut ties when the sun comes up. But cutting ties becomes impossible when Beau and his friend, Nessa, are looking for one more roommate in their three-bedroom off-campus apartment. And Nessa-oblivious to their history-suggests the one person that Beau knows will kill him to live with: Collins Bryant. He should say no. He really should. But even with knowing she doesn't want him, Beau would do just about anything for Collins. Including giving her the open room in his apartment-because he knows she isn't going to find another one, not this close to the start of the college semester. But as Collins moves in and unpacks all her art supplies, all her secrets, Beau starts to wonder if maybe...maybe she wants him after all. And maybe getting the chance to be with her is enough to risk everything. Enough to tip the hidden scales, the ones he's been keeping underwraps.

(Book one of the Screwed Series) MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY and please expect misspellings and plotholes. You have been warned! Only available on Watt pad! (We 'bout to be editing in this mug!) *** "I thought that having all of my best friends, including my sister, would be a great way of all of us to stay connected. I figured that we all still need each other after we all became legal adults. What closeness we had as teens was the same closeness we'd have as adults....or so I thought. Boy, was I wrong. " **** Living with roommates isn't easy in itself. Living with your best friends could be worse... Especially if you're living with 4 of them and their child. When you have that one mom roommate with lustful tendencies, another can't seem to get out of bed unless it's midnight, one that can't stop eating all the food in the house while another will rip the entire house to shreds if you get on her bad side, and that one roommate that acts like a prima-donna.... There's bound to be an earthquake in the tiny apartment. Game on.
