I'm writing a book for school and have bits and pieces, I've written a summery, and several scenes! I'd love some opinions on this, help, criticism, ideas, anything! Small towns are stereotypically "Boring". Bellebrooke, Maine is quite the contrary. Once every ten years, a local teenager is chosen to slip out of reality, and into the veil when they sleep. The towns "outcast" Trevor Quinn was chosen for this. It started out normal, talking to spirits and seeing the dead. But then one day he did not wake back up. How will he get out?

"A Book About Quinn" follows the story of a peculiar protagonist. Quinn, the titular main character, fulfills the role of the Narrator - but this isn't how the story was supposed to go, they're sure of it. Joined by James, Daphne and Alice - all holding secrets of their own - Quinn ventures across worlds to find the answer to that greatest of secrets - who are they, really? Dreams and mirrors become portals to uncharted worlds, full of beauty and danger, and the most wonderous places. And time after time again is the question posed - who is visisting Quinn's dreams? And can they possibly rewrite destiny? --- My lil' novel, very much a WIP. Previously only on AO3, that's why there's a lot of chapters updated at once loll All the characters belong to me, the story is mine etc CW: - major character death (kinda) - semi-graphic depictions of violence - mentions of SA - trauma flashbacks - suicide (thoughts, mentions) - school shootings - self-depricative thoughts - mentions of ED - mentions of domestic abuse
