In the lands ruled by the newly appointed goddess Dea, humans will live 1200 years- spending one hundred years in each of the Twelve Realms. At the end of these 1200 years, one must drink the nectar of the flower of eternal sleep and float down the River of Winter, which will lead them to the end of land. Life in each Realm is highly different. Lucia, a temple maid who helps prepare the elderly to take the journey down the river, spends her days training to become a high priestess in the Realm of Eternal Winter. Aerid lives in the Cursed Village- the home village of the one man who managed to escape the fate of the River of Winter, an escape that caused the king of the realm such severe misfortune that he has been strictly punishing the village ever since, in the Realm of Forests. Lucia and Aerid should, logically, never meet. But as the signs from Dea become more and more confusing, logic begins to fall apart.

Jack and Ann have taken me on a great adventure full of mystery and incredible technology, I hope you'll join us. I know you have a lot of reading choices, but if you have space left in your literary adventure cup, please join Jack and Ann as 2021 turns into 2022, happy reading! __ The demon whispers inside Jack's mind. "They are not worthy, they are cattle, these new humans you covet. The so-called creator has betrayed you, replaced you with these organic imitations. Slaughter them all." It's funny, not in a ha-ha funny way, but a sad, my madness doesn't make sense type of way, Jack thinks, because wasn't he human? Worse still, the voice comes with impulses that are hard to resist. Violence usually ensues. That's why he joined the military. A way to channel his urges into mind-numbing physical effort and war. It works for a time. But alcohol and fighting can only carry on for so long. Finally, he realizes, his only way out is suicide. But when he opens his eyes, he's in the In-Between. The creator has other plans for him, and she won't take no for an answer. Apparently, this isn't his first life and if he doesn't free her from her prison, it won't be his last. His curse is to be reborn without end, without rest, without memory. Only madness. Now Jack is on the run from forces he doesn't understand. It's a new world. The mundane replaced by ethereal artificial intelligence, spontaneous virtual realities, and homicidal bible salesmen. But the creator promises the demon's voice will disappear as soon as he finds the right girl, the right bond. After that, they just have to escape the clutches of those who hunt them, find the Isle of Song, and free the creator from her prison. Or maybe this time, in this life, Jack will figure out what true freedom is. Come along on this action-packed thriller as Jack fights to remember who he is, tries to end an eternal war, and atone for sins he doesn't remember...yet.

Now that he has the Serum from Elon's Crest, with the help of Mernaline, a mermaid descendant of the people of Mer, Klever needs to drink the Serum of Umelum, which is the blood of the immortal Oracle, Lady Comadina. But first he must travel to the far north where her successor, Lady Atenda, resides in the realm of Truthe at the sacred Palace of Orali. On his journey he will face challenges from those that have sided with the evil sorceress. Along the way he makes friends that become companions. He will meet leaders of armies, and the twelve tribes kings that are descended from the ones of old. Some, allies that will bestow gifts that will help Klever along the way...and others that will curse him, and set trickery against him, even in his darkest hour. Along with the twelve kings, Klever will meet and be guided by seven Elders of the Age, Watchers of time given a potion made from the Arora Opiate flower, common to fields of lemon grass near the Fraidis Mountains. The flower is used to strengthen the quality and prolong human life, but only lasts twenty five years at a time beyond three quarters of a century old. Klever will have to follow the Maps of Seven that will lead him through many different realms in his world Earthaine, and use the trinket of Iris to travel safely, and in the right direction. The Elders will help guide Klever to each destination on his three month journey, acting as hosts of refuge so that Klever can remain hidden away from the witch, Gwyniah, who is in pursuit of the Serum also. If she gets ahold of it, she will have ultimate power and would be indestructible; no living army could defeat her. With king Septimus, an unruly king and traitor, Gwyniah has access to nearly eliminable power. Klever must save his twin from the fate of death, and to do so, he must reach the north before she begins to cross the veil of immortality, for he must drink the Serum of Umelum in tandem if they are to survive. If they die, so does everyone else.

✨ Murder. Romance. Magic. Trauma. And one very dramatic Google Doc. So Cassy was supposed to be writing an article about city pigeons. You know-normal journalism stuff. Instead, her best friend went on a date and the girl died. Like. Actually. Died. Mid-conversation. Mid-cocktail. Now the police are suspicious,Cassy's editor wants the story, and somehow she's become the unwilling narrator of a rom-com with a body count. Oh, and fun fact? Cupid's real. She wears combat boots, drinks oat milk, and just moved into Cassy's apartment. And has eyeliner sharp enough to slice her sanity. Also-she says Ace- Cassy's best friend might be cursed. Perfect. To fix this whole magical-romantic-murder situation, Cassy has to: • Not fall in love with her best friend ✅ • Go on a "fake date" that might kill her ✅ • Stop a charming psycho with great hair from weaponizing love ✅ So yeah. This is her life now. Welcome to the story. Try not to fall for anyone. It's safer that way.
