Harriet was a protégé, a brilliant young girl with a brilliant mind, she had photographic memory, you see, and she could memorize every word in a book that she simply glanced at from afar.

Harriet was a fighter, a trained martial artists and skilled weapon master, but only few knew this.

Harriet had a secret. She had secret friends that hid in the Shadows, for that is what they were.

Harriet had many secrets, and one that she planned to tell her dearest family on the the night of her ninth birthday - her real birthday - was one that she kept close to her heart and mind.
