Ember is used to her lackluster life. Ever since her mother's death, she's been taken in by her sorry-excuse-for-a-stepfather, Maurice. The only light that seems to shine for her is her sister Belle. Now, it's Belle's eighteenth birthday and things should be happy. But all is not well in the kingdom. With the Ogre Wars threatening to destroy it all, Maurice sends out a message for help to the one and only Rumpelstiltskin. But Ember knows that all magic comes with a price; she also knows exactly what the price will be. When she makes a sacrifice to save her sister, her entire life changes. Following the popular TV series Once Upon a Time, Ember must now adjust to her new life. Will she be able to see it through or will the price of magic prove to be too much?
