Memory is a funny thing; it controls every part of you. You remember words in order to speak, you remember people based on past actions and if we didn't remember the past, history would surely repeat itself, causing the same old suffering. Without their memory a person is lost, forgetting and forgotten, for it is what we can remember that gets us remembered. This story is about what I forgot, and what was burnt into my memory in the process, and about the moment truth became lies, and fantasy became reality.
