"We had nothing. I don't care if I gave up on us, because it was worth giving up on. Whatever you heard about me, it was true. I'm done with the secrets and I'm done with you." He said bitterly.
Ashton was neither popular nor anti social. She was just selectively social. She chose her battles and she chose her cliques. She was independent and never relied on anyone, but after a drastic accident that occurs in the woods one night, she will never be able to trust anybody again and she will never be the same. Will her secret cause her to push everyone she loves out of her life forever?
Nathan was known for being the closed off, mysterious bad boy. He's not very athletic, but he still ends up making the Charter Roads High School lacrosse team every year. He's nerdy and sarcastic and caring, but if you get on his bad side, he will hurt you without even realizing it. If Nathan finds out about Ashton's secret, will that ruin everything, or will it draw him closer to her.
When Nathan and Ashton cross paths, disaster occurs and it's completely and utterly inevitable. The real question isn't whether the two teenagers will end up together rather than if they can survive their relationship filled with secrets and lies.

You know when people say how it's like love at first sight when seeing their love for the first time? You look him in the eyes and know he's the man of your dreams. Bullshit! I was getting ready to start my senior year of high school when my dad was offered a promotion in an ally pack. He was our alpha's younger brother. (In other words my uncle is the Alpha.) My dad did accounting and record keeping for our pack as a delta. One of our ally packs contacted him to be a beta in charge of pack records and accounting. His record keeper and his mate were wanting to retire. His mate was an OB/GYN nurse. My mom was the midwife assistant. She could become the pack midwife. This would mean we would have to move. I wasn't sure I really wanted to move. I loved the art program at my school. We get moved and the first day at the new school I meet my mate and he rejects me. He was the warrior beta's son and I was the record's beta daughter, and he rejects me. Ugh then in front of me he claims the alpha's daughter. I was devastated but I refused to show my emotions to him. The next day at I attend school I am claimed by an alpha as my second chance mate.
