✦ The Chant of Remembering ✦
As preserved by the Daughters of Soulfire
Before the world was written in fire and bone,
the Moon made a promise to the Wolves-
and one night,
it remembered.
The forest remembers.
The forest remembers.
The Moon keeps her secrets.
The Moon keeps her vow.
She did not seek destiny,
yet destiny found her beneath a bleeding sky.
He did not seek her,
yet the call drew him all the same.
A thread older than breath.
A pull older than stars.
A remembering-
two souls answering a name the gods forgot to silence.
Whispers move through the trees:
of love that births ruin,
of ruin that births salvation,
of two lights dividing the dawn.
The gods stir.
The veil trembles.
The tether deepens beyond flesh and dream.
Is she the vessel of fate,
or its undoing?
Fate is not a chain.
Fate is a choice.
And every heartbeat
turns the key.
The world shifts around her now.
Shadows listen.
The wind holds its breath.
Something stirs where she walks-
not light,
not dark,
but both-
waiting to be claimed.
The earth bows.
The moon watches.
She stands at the hinge of all that burns
and all that endures.
Prophecy speaks her name:
She who walks where light and shadow divide.
She who will choose how the dawn is born-
in fire,
or in ruin.
When moonlight remembers,
and blood awakens,
the world will tremble
to become what she chooses.

✶ So it is written.
✶ So it endures.
✶ Blood remembers.
