Izuku and Shouto met in the hospital and were inseparable ever since. Both of them help and protect each other as much as they are able to, but for many heroes, the quirkless boy is a thorn in the side they want to get rid of. 
In the end, Izuku submitted to his fate, but he would be damned if he would not drag anyone who longed to hurt his family down with him.
