The woodland Protector

As a child and his father went on a hunt, the child had an accident and the father left without him. Without him the child would be without guidance and he would have to learn on his own.

As the years went on, the boy started to find out who he was and how to be strong. Why would his father leave him? How would he survive throughout the years?
