It's finally their senior year. Monse, Cesar, Ruby and Jamal aren't as close as they were a few years ago. Ruby, determined as ever, is making it his life's mission to restore the group. Monse and Cesar have a kid but they broke up when he was three months old and Jamal's graduating early and going to New York. All Ruby wants is one more year with his best friends before they go to College.

16 year old Danae's life is slowly going downhill with trying to get a job and get into college. His mum doesn't make it any easier though. She's hot headed and is always annoyed at Danae because he looks just like his dad, who his mum has just divorced. His best friend Eden is having problems with her boyfriend and Danae slowly develops feelings for her. They hang out and play video games once a week, which is the highlight of his weeks. He doesn't want to jeopardise his friendship by telling Eden he has romantic feelings for her, until he gives in shortly after their shared kiss. Btw I imagine Danae similar to Cole from the Netflix Series: My Life With The Walter Boys. And I imagine Eden to look like a brunette version of Sarah from Outer Banks.
