When Cebrina's parents disappear unexpectedly, she is heartbroken. Thank goodness Uncle Dave offer to take her in - a year shy of her eighteenth birthday, she's not yet a legal adult. But when he messes up, the social worker intervenes and threatens to send Cebrina off to foster care... until a mysterious and wealthy young man shows up and offers to be her guardian.
