It's almost complete, though I had to take a break due to the Fall 2022 semester starting up. 2015: Crystal has gone through the four regions of Kanto, Sinnoh, Johto, and Unova, collecting Pokémon, defeating rivals, and gaining badges, like any other Pokémon trainer. Right after she gained her eighth Gym badge in Unova, she had an urge to visit her home region of Kanto and her friends who live there. After visiting with her family and friends in Pallet Town, she headed to Cerulean Cape to visit Bill, who started up Crystal's PC Pokémon storage system. Bill was in the middle of an experiment and Crystal offers to help, which brings her the ability of a Ditto: the ability to change into any Pokémon. That is, with practice. Have you ever wondered what Ash's journey would be if he were in Galar? Well, I'm creating my own rewrite to imagine what that would be like. The plot is about a ten-year-old boy named Ash Ketchum and his first partner named Pikachu, who travels to a new region called Galar. His goal is to challenge Leon, the unbeatable champion. Galar is home to its strong and competitive trainers, so the road will be a challenge for him. Ash is also traveling with two companions: a young adult woman named Sonia, who is also the granddaughter of Professor Magnolia; and a boy named Hop, who's Leon's Younger Brother and share the same goal from Ash of dethroning Leon. Together, the trio travels to the first section of Galar, meeting new trainers and Pokémon and learning about Galar history and secrets.
