I spin around, hands coming up to rest in front of my face in a defensive position. "Who are you." I say, angry and cautious. These people just attacked me out of nowhere and without reason. If they think they're going to get anything off of me, then the only thing they'll find is a row of hospital beds with their names on them. I smirk as I hear the twang of a bowstring behind me. Flattening myself to the ground, just in time, the arrow whizzes over my head and lodges itself in a tree across from the bench to my left. Footsteps crunch on the gravel path behind me as I pull myself up onto my feet again and spin around, faster than the eye can follow, as a man in blue, red and white advances on me. "And just what are YOU supposed to be? Don't you know that it's January. Try again in another six months." I say, still smirking. "Oh, you're sassy, aren't you." The patriotic man says, amusement dancing in his eyes. "It almost makes me regret having to do THIS!" He says, grunting on the last word, as he swings his right leg up to kick me in the face. My hands fly up in seconds, catching his foot and using his weight against him, pushing back on his foot, making his knee buckle and forcing him to hop back, desperate not to topple over backwards. "Still think you're good enough to take me?" I ask, frowning slightly as something over my shoulder catches his attention. I drop his foot and spin around, a foolish mistake. His fist smashes into the back of my head and I let out a gasp of pain before my world goes black.
