Newt is dead.
He didn't want to become a brain dead zombie like the other flare-infected cranks. He saw the brainless looks on their faces, and decided that he didn't want to end up one of them. He put all of his faith in his friend to put him out of his misery.
With the saddened pull of a trigger, Thomas did just that.
But now it's time to tell Minho
