With the influence of her family and a shift in interest to people like Billy the Kid, Al Capone, Clyde Barrow, and Bonnie Parker, she pursued a criminal life.
When an act of good causes them to meet, it feels as if they've been in that scenario before. To them, it feels as if the world has chosen them to repeat actions as the infamous, Bonnie and Clyde duo.
