Cassia is a female in Ancient Rome. She's supposed to be a quiet housewife who is loyal to her husband. But she isn't. Cassia is a soldier in the Roman army in a time where women aren't allowed to fight. To hide her identity, Cassia goes by Cassius, a twenty-three year old male.

Cassia is recruited in Captain Draco's legion. She's one of the best fighters and gets compliments from Drago on a regular basis. She is even close to becoming a lieutenant by the time the Hades comes to make his prophecy. Cassia is one of the first to volunteer to go on the quest with Draco and Perseus.

Cassia, over the quest, begins to grow close to Draco. She is one of his favorite soldiers, even if he won't admit it. Cassia already had feelings for Draco but could never admit it. He's the captain and she's just a soldier. Besides, to Draco, Cassia is Cassius, a young and talented male soldier, not a young woman interested in him. Why would he be? Cassia knows it's impossible but the future is the hands of the Fates, not a simple soldier like her.All Rights Reserved
