We all experience moments of perfectionism. However, so-called "normal perfectionists" derive a very real sense of pleasure from the labours of a painstaking effort, while neurotic narcissistic perfectionists are unable to feel satisfaction because in their own eyes they never seem to do things well enough to warrant feelings of satisfaction. The relationship between narcissistic behavior and perfectionism is perplexing. In order to begin to understand how complex it is, it is useful to understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy narcissism. There is a world of difference between healthy narcissism and unhealthy narcissism when it comes to going in "search of our own excellence". ASSC Direct is specialized in narcissistic Personality Disorder who is an expert in the area of narcissistic behaviour and narcissistic abuse. He specializes in teaching and training therapists in the understanding of Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome, a new syndrome that is on the increase in our culture.

ONC 2025 Mudassir had it all-awards, friends, and a reputation that turned heads. But glory is fragile, and when life kicked him down, it didn't just bruise him. It shattered him. Now, he's trapped in the outskirts of Karachi, living with a violent father who drinks more than he breathes and a mind that's its own worst enemy. Once the life of the party, Mudassir is just another man drowning in rejection-job rejections, romantic failures, and his once-unshakable ego lie in ruins, a battered remnant of who he used to be. Until he sees her. Yusra Haroon. Selfishly stunning. Charmingly unapproachable. His therapist-to-be. An accomplishment he's looking to unravel. Suddenly, it isn't healing he's after. It's her undivided attention. Therapy sessions turn into a game, and to Mudassir, her kindness isn't just compassion. It's the reward of the price he's paid. It's proof that she wants him, even if she doesn't know it yet. But when she tries to set clear boundaries, he does what he's always known best. And that's not sounding good for the two of them. Because anything that's chased runs. But for him, love isn't about letting go. It's about never losing. ----------------------------------------- This story is written for the ONC 2025 for Prompt 125: Fear is the mind-killer. Naomi's POV: I thought this would be easy-pretend to be Min's girlfriend for a year, collect my paycheck, and return to my peaceful life. But I underestimated them. Their teasing. Their hunger. Every glance, every touch, every stolen moment is breaking me down. They want me to fall. They want me to belong to them. And worst of all? I'm starting to want it too. Min's POV (The Leader): She's my fake girlfriend. A PR move. A contract. Nothing more. So why can't I stop thinking about her? She's different. Strong-willed. Untouchable. But I always get what I want. And what I want is her-completely. Jae's POV (The Rebel): She's fun to mess with. A challenge. A game. But now? It's more than that. She won't break, so I'll make her. Teasing isn't enough anymore-I need to ruin her. I need to make her scream my name so loud she forgets every other man in the room. Seon's POV (The Sunshine): She treats me like I'm harmless. Cute. A boy. But I'm not. I'm going to show her exactly what kind of man I am. She thinks she can resist me, but I see the way she looks when I touch her. Jisoo's POV (The Mystery): She watches me when she thinks I don't notice. She wants to figure me out. But what she doesn't realize? I already have her figured out. She thinks she's in control. She doesn't know what happens when I finally touch her. ⚠️ Trigger Warnings This book contains explicit, dark, and mature themes that may not be suitable for all readers. Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. But in some ways, I'm glad you're not a part of it. I just wish it wasn't like this. *** TRIGGER WARNING*** SA, abuse, suicide, substance abuse, and mental illness. This is a complete story that is much like life; fast, full of surprises, and not always how we want it to be. This has been a project of mine for over three years. It was self-published on Amazon, but after some issues in publication, I decided to just upload it on here. I hope you fall in love with these characters like I have. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. As in any coming of age story, they will experience growing pains... but will they survive them before its too late? PLEASE READ THE TRIGGER WARNINGS.
