TRIGGER WARNING
I'm going to be talking about my difficulties with depression; going through it, and just how I cope with all the bullshit in my life in many different ways. I will also be talking about cutting, so if you're not comfortable at all with that subject then I suggest you try and find something else to read because I will be going into great detail

Drowning Without Water - A Criminal Minds x Reader
Y/N has worked at the BAU for almost a year now and things were going great at work. Until the stress blackouts started whenever she was home. Alex, her boyfriend who lives with her, always explained that during these blackouts, she was incredibly clumsy and always hurting herself. That always explained the marks that would appear after them. The team, especially her best friends Spencer Reid and Emily Prentiss, worried for her but she always assured them everything was fine because it was. Did they believe her? Did she believe Alex? Did she even believe herself? One thing was certain, her one-year anniversary at the BAU was not going to be a pleasant one.Complete
Blurred Lines
Y/n has a secret. Actually, she has a few secrets. Y/n used to be involved with the BDSM community for several years with her fiancee, until her new job at the BAU slowly forced her to become more and more separated from her double life. One fateful night, it all changes. Y/n's life is now in shambles, and she has to navigate through her feelings alone. Y/n tries to throw herself into her work, finally allowing herself to become close with her team; but there's one person she can't connect with - her unit chief, Emily Prentiss. Y/n admires her from a distance, concealing her feelings for her unit chief. It works for a few months, but secrets are bound to be exposed, especially when you work with the world's top profilers. One case that hits way too close to home for Y/n proves just that. ... My phone dings as I sit back. I grab it, seeing a text from Emily. I gape openly at her text. "Fucking hell," I breathe. "What? What is it?" Garcia questions me in concern. I swallow harshly. "Emily texted me," I say, "It's a list of rules for tonight." "What do they say?" Garcia asks excitedly. I bite my lip as I read her text out loud. I take a breath, looking at Penelope. She shrugs at you through the mirror. "How are you doing?" She checks. I shake my head. "As good as I can be, given my role-play with the Chief just began," I groan, "I am going to regret this." ... TRIGGERS angst smut BDSM swearing degradation potential lack of aftercare - death/unaliving guns and other unaliving instruments blood mentions of rape and torture (for the cases obvs) kidnapping (for the cases, again, obvs) - anxiety/panic attacks depression throwing up (mostly from being drunk fun fact, Y/n likes to party) ---- *obvs I don't own any of the CM cast. If You Love Me
"If you love me, you won't leave me." Jessie has believed those words from her boyfriend, Josh, since senior year of high school. She loves him and doesn't want to leave him. Not even when he shouts at her and hits her. Jessie's best friend, Kolleen, can't stand seeing her in that situation. With a bit of convincing - and the worst beating she'd ever received - Jessie agrees to move into an apartment with Kolleen. But not long after, Jessie is scared the worst of her nightmares will soon become a reality. Josh goes missing, and suddenly Jessie would swear she's being followed. One night changes everything, and one person soon changes Jessie's outlook. A responding officer from that fateful night begins to seek her out, at first claiming it's part of his job. As she spends time with her new friend outside of his job, she starts realizing that her feelings are evolving. After being abused for over a year, Jessie is terrified she's falling in love. What's even more terrifying is that he might be, too. She isn't ready for love. Not yet. She makes up her mind that if he is falling, and if he does love her, he'll wait for her to be ready, and if she loves him, she won't let herself hurt him. Can the words that used to cage her in really be the key to her freedom? --- Featured On: @NA: Take a seat and let it be | Mature Content and 18+ reading list @NA: You deserve the world | Mental Health reading list Ambys Top Picks New Adult 2023Complete![You and Her (Emily Prentiss x Fem.Reader) [ORIGINAL]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/261303245-256-k721219.jpg)
You and Her (Emily Prentiss x Fem.Reader) [ORIGINAL]
You started working at the BAU over a month ago. When Emily has a bad day she takes your comfort as more than kindness. Surprised you reject her, but afterwards you can't get her out of your head. (This is the original story. I'm now working on rewriting it.) Don't be afraid to give feedback. (Btw no smut). Send me story requests! I don't own any of the Criminal Minds characters or the dialogue and cases taken from the show. I have another book for any Criminal Minds One Shots. Check it out!Complete

Don't let go - Emily Prentiss x Reader
You and Emily met at the BAU when she transferred back from Interpol after Hotch had hired you a few months before. You fit right into the team when you joined, and naturally developed a great friendship with Emily when she returned too. But that friendship quickly developed into a little something more, and although you'd agreed to keep it secret from the rest of the team, it was getting harder to hide how much you cared for each other, especially when one particular case puts you right at the forefront of the team's investigation. This fanfic will revolve around y/n having mental health issues, and whilst the relationship with Emily will play a large part in the storyline, I want to keep it as realistic as possible so y/n's mental health problems will continue throughout. For the purposes of this story, Emily's return from Interpol is the only reason why she's left the BAU, the Ian Doyle storyline has not happened yet. (This story mentions various mental health topics including depression, anxiety, eating disorders (restriction and purging), self-harm and suicide. Please don't read if you think it'll trigger you, and please reach out to someone if you're struggling.) Smut warning - chapters with smut involved will have '*' in the titleComplete
