9 years later, Ben turns 21 and was set to become the new King of Cadalegan, but  Morzan refuse to let that happen and tries to kill Ben. However, Ben escapes and is on the run from Morzan. 

Unable to find a way to stop Morzan and get the kingdom back, Ben meets Rayla, the Princess of Faresa, who runs away from an arranged marriage.
