I encountered interesting people in my work. Some of them are godsend, some are complete disaster. Working in retail makes us hate people fast. We met higher percentage of assholes that sometimes the simplest act of "common sense" will make us teary-eyed.

This is a story of how fast things can change from awesome to terrible, a story of how when you are in the middle of a shitshow, you do not see a lot of the fun things that are happening and only get to see them when taking a break from them. So, imagine a guy entering his first real job in an awesome company where he is promised the career of his life. Then, just out of the blue, a boss is replaced by another boss. The replaced boss decides to change another boss, and the changed boss also decides that it is enough for a man to serve as CEO of an awesome company for 30 years. Once you run a bankrupt company, and within less than 5 years turn it into a huge money maker in a hopeless holding company for the next 25 years, everyone forgets that this was all done by a person who actually knew what he was doing and as a result they think that every Tom, Dick, and Harry is capable of keeping on doing the same job. That would be a great chance to give that company to an amateur who has married the daughter of the right guy. So, this all leads to meeting two of the biggest fools on the planet. One fool becomes the new CEO, and the other one acts like his bestie while he is really the slave. The watchdog takes all the pride he can in it and holds onto his position as if it really means something. It is crazy how some like being worthless just to make more money. "Mondays with the boss" is my version of everything that happened to me in two years. Most of the book is based on my minutes, and the rest is a mixture of my imagination and memories. Let me make something clear here. Names, faces, and any semblance of sanity have been changed for entertainment purposes. Any resemblance to actual events is purely accidental. So, my fat former boss, do not even think of suing me.
