A kit named Eve, abandon from her family, wonders alone through the snowy valleys. Dangers come at her from all directions, she feels she is no longer safe anymore.
     But one day, she gets carried away by a hawk. She luckily survives thanks to a cat named Hurricane. But Hurricane won't always be able to take care of Eve, for he is getting to old, and will pass on soon. He needs to find Eve a home before it is his time to join the afterlife.
