Lucy Heartfilia, Princess of Celestia. Her life is perfect...she's well taken care of, not to mention extremely beautiful. However, Lucy is overly spoiled, being used to get everything she desires. One day, her kingdom gets attacked due to her people's uprising against her father's horrible treatment and ruling of the kingdom and he's assassinated. On the brink of almost being captured herself, Lucy escapes with her annoying and childlike guard, Natsu. 

Despite his rude comments and none stop teasing, Natsu does everything in his power to keep her safe. For months they hide, while finding new friends, and Lucy finally finds the power to fight for her kindom and become the ruler her people need. 

During they're travels, Lucy and Natsu develop feelings for each other. Will Natsu be able to fight the urge and hide his feelings from his princess?
