They came upon the palace before the blooming hues of autumn, turned to the dull and savage harshness of winter. Dark clouds of fall storms blanketed the sky, and leaves fluttered down from the trees with the violent wind. Two boys seemingly in their late teens ventured into the unknown before them, and swiftly lost in its false promises. Swept up in the burning beauty, and the darkness that loomed underneath its surface like an oleander.
