3,700 years after humanity turned to stone. It was by her luck that Jyakugai Kyoushin was woken up by the worst person possible.
Herself.
After all these years, her fear of dying kept her alive, and yet, she hates it. Not being alive, but being alive now.
Danger is everywhere, she could die at any minute, the only people she's found think she's a criminal - so far, nothing is going her way. That is, until another stranger come along.
But he expects people to work, and while he clearly knows about modern technology, Jyakugai wants nothing to do with the outdoors. She'd rather stay in her shack than get back modern tech if it means her risk of dying stays low.

Hikari has always been friends with Senku, Taiju and Yuzuriha. It's always been the four of them. While Taiju loved Yuzuriha and Yuzuriha loved Taiju, Hikari found herself falling head over heels in love with Senku. And she told blurted it out one time when they were real young that she wanted to stay by his side because she loved him. But it's been so long, she thought he'd forgotten, something illogical as that, wasn't something Senku paid attention to, but he paid attention to her. She was the only one he truly let into his heart aside from science. When the beam of light covers the sky, Hikari gets scared and looks to the only person that makes sense, Senku. She grabs tightly onto him and the two of them are turned to stone together. 3,700 years later, in the year 5738, a minute after Senku wakes up, while in the middle of getting his bearings, Hikari wakes up, begins crying, hugging him, like she had been doing before they were turned to stone. Senku calms her down and tells her that there's more important things than reminding him of her feelings for him, as he already knew about her feelings. He tells her that centuries had passed and they needed to figure out how to survive. That meant gathering food, water, find shelter and clothing.
