As he walked towards me with all eyes watching us, as he stand before me looking me in the eyes asking that one question that he will never know 

" Who are you" he said 

" Someone who you should never have met" 

" Why??" he said again

" Because asking who I am can get you hurt or worse killed" 

Dakota Emery Demetrius is a seventeen year old girl who has a really bad past who is determined to keep secret the only person who knows her past is her caretaker Mark Kingston. She always had an anger issue and it tends to get out of control so Mark and Dakota has to move all the time, when they get to a new town called Cliff Hills there she meets people that maybe just like her, friends who are always trying to make her laugh and a boy who is tall, well tanned, a smirk that she wishes to slap off, and blue eyes with a hint of green that at first sight she fell in love. Can she find happiness at last or will something inside of her stop her???? READ TO FIND OUT!!!!!!
