    Caine has discovered he has the power of telekinesis. Perdido Beach is in a dome -- there's no escape, and there's no normal. Everything is changing, and Caine wants to keep it in check. But there's Diana, always Diana, the girl he's falling for.
    
    Diana just wants to run away, to be with Caine, and allow them to live a life together, away from the horrors of the FAYZ and everything they must sacrifice to survive. Diana knows there's no happy ending for them, no chance of what she wants the most.
    
    And she fears the question that will one day cross Caine's mind.
