"Emily's son and his friends are staying over for the summer."

"What? Why? "Who's Emily? "Why are they staying here?" I hear the others questioning my aunt, but I couldn't focus on them, my mind kept spinning and all I could think of is him. Alec Campbell. Emily's son, also known as my childhood best friend. Memories flooded back into my mind, from the day I met him, to the day I left Birmingham. We never got to properly say goodbye, and I contacted him since then. I can't see him now, what if he recognizes me, what if he asks what happened, why I don't sing... I can't tell him... He doesn't know.

"Did you hear that sound?"

"Yeah... I think it's coming from the bathroom upstairs."

"She has the voice of an angel, she should be in our band!"

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Meet Cameron Samantha Atherley is your not-so-average 16-year-old teenager. Why you ask, well, she's the daughter of Jake and Leila Atherley, two of the world-renowned singers and dancers. So naturally, she's blessed with talent and spends every second she has singing and dancing, but it all stopped when her parents died in a tragic accident when she was 12.

Now meet Five Minutes to Midnight. They are an internationally famous pop/rock band from Birmingham. Band members, Alec Campbell, Blake Ryder, Reece Taylor and Carson Peters are going to California in the summer to prepare for their upcoming world tour.

When Cameron left Birmingham, she thought she'd never see him again. A lot has changed since then, will he remember her? And will the band be able to convince her to sing again?
