Flight of the Phoenix (Harry Potter FanFic)

Fury unfurled upon the man's face as he raised his wand, pointing it directly at the woman's heart.
"Avada Kedavra."
The words were spoken softly, but the spell had served its intended purpose.
Green light flashed across the room, and the frail figure of the woman crumpled to the floor.

It is early in the September holidays when Kendra first experiences the horrific nightmare. No two dreams are ever exactly the same, but whenever she is forced to witness them, there is always one fundamental incident:
The murder of her mother.

Kendra's last remaining relative, her grandfather, has always refused to give Kendra any answers about her past. In particular, any information that broaches the topic of her mother's death or father's continual absence in Kendra's life.

However, Kendra soon finds that there may be no need to pursue answers about her past, especially when those answers are already looking for her.

Soon, Kendra will be forced to discover that she cannot have a future without understanding her past, and that when the time comes for Lord Voldemort to rise, she may be far more powerful than anyone would have ever known.

But, until the time comes, there will be no telling as to whether her power be wielded by the forces of good or evil.
Soon, she will have to choose.
