Minecraft is a game full of wonder. It is limitless in terms of what you can do. The only thing that could stop you, is your own creativity. Other than that, it is also full of mystery. You can memorize every single crafting recipe, every command and master the skill of building giant castles, but you can never know what the origin of this odd world is. What is The End? What are Endermen? What is the story behind the ancient ruins you can find? Where are the others? The only civilization is almost alien-like villagers, and blue-skinned pillagers. So, how did you come to exist in the world? This story explores most of these things, with a little spin on it.

(This story is abandoned due to my dwindling interest in both Minecraft and the story itself - also for a lot of holes in the original story planned that would require a few rewrites - and will likely remain that way. Nonetheless I do hope you'll still read and enjoy it :) )

It all happened one day. You opened your eyes to a blue sky and green grass as far as the eye could see, animals here and there walking about. It was all so peaceful, the sun and wind against your skin, coercing you to get out there and explore, mine that tree, build a pickaxe, kill those mobs. You were taken in by a village and raised there before everything was taken away from you. You learned a valuable lesson that night: that this world can be cruel. But... even then, it's your world. You grow because of what you endure, you build your muscle by tearing it. You can do whatever you want. You can choose to be cruel or not. You decided what you wanted to be when you spared that PIGLIN BRUTE, a hostile creature that was unable of comprehending emotions, a creature that only knew cruelty, A MERE NPC. Little did you know, because you spared that piglin, your life would never be the same again. This is your world, and you changed it, you will leave your impact. You are in control, and you will keep fighting through dirt, sand, and snow; through the deepest oceans and the hottest pits of lava; and across the Overworld and Nether. You will SURVIVE. Welcome to Minecraft. ... Play some of Minecraft's OST and begin reading :) (Feedback is greatly appreciated. Read at a steady pace and enjoy. The world of Minecraft has always been a dangerous place. Lava bubbles up from the earth or slowly crawls down rocky cliffs, pitfalls and caverns yawn in unexpected places in the earth, oceans stretch for miles and deserts scorch in the blazing sun. The mobs, however, are the greatest danger. They used to be peaceful, before the Players came. Strangers from lands no one understands, who think the whole world is a game. They kill, build, farm, dig and craft where they please, regardless of consequence or right. They slaughtered Endermen for their pearls, Creepers for their sparkpowder. They littered the earth with the bodies of the slain. And thus came the Zombies. The Skeletons. The ferocity that had grown for years in the hearts of every mob began to manifest, until most would attack a Player on sight. They had learned to fight for their lives or face their death at the tip of a Player's chosen weapon. But not all Players were the same. The mobs just didn't know that yet.
