After the events of the previous book, everything has changed. Michelangelo is gone. The brothers still live together, but they're more distant than ever. They're lost. Donnie is persistent in finding Mikey's body, but then decides to find clues on why Mikey did what he did. Raph is out for revenge on the bad guys. Leo goes through a self check. The Kraang and the Foot are at war. But, it's not what it seems. There's one person who can end it all. And it's not Michelangelo.

After a few days of staying with the brothers while getting to know them more, each sister started to fall for one of the brothers. Jamey and Raph started dating, and Cheyenne and Donnie started dating a few days before Jamey and Raph started. Mikey and Tasneem started dating sometime after them and finally, Jesse and Leo started after them. When Leonardo comes home from his long venture, there is an immediate strain on his relationship with Raphael while mysterious Foot Clan activity and monster sightings cause additional difficulty. The teenage terrapins must somehow renew and strengthen their bond if they are to have any hope of defeating an evil industrialist's army of ancient monsters.Complete
