(っ◔◡◔)っ ♥ Context that no one reads♥ The five Arthurian Romances by Chrétien de Troyes is all about romance defying social construct. A chivalry, courageous and honourable type, conveying courtly love and national unity. I had only found out about this poetry book very late but coincidentally it complimented the story brilliantly, so I have featured it in this piece. I decided to name this book after all five novels, calling this the 6th Arthurian Romances, as it is also set in that time. Essentially, it is about love between two different classes. As you know they took King's bloodlines very seriously as well as the hierarchy in the 12th century. But what if this king, like the Knight of Lion and the Knight of Cart, followed their hearts rather than society? Book One in the Spanish Thorns Series ~ * ~ This story has a little bit of everything including the following in no particular order: romance, action, drug use, Adele, alcohol consumption, sex scenes, food, death threats, gang violence, street racing, bathroom breaks, medical problems, blood, singular point of view, kissing, cussing, guns, orange juice, and tattoos. This story is rated R. I struggled with this for a while, considering rating it PG-13 and placing the rather "graphic" scenes in a separate book but I believe it would take away from the story. My characters are considered adults in the eyes of the law and society and therefore do 'adult' things. For the most part, the story will be PG-13 but because I wouldn't split it, it's earned an R rating. Hope you understand.Complete

A Zurena FanFic. One-shot, but really, really long. 2nd person/Zulema's POV (Congratulations, you get to be Zulema)! Set in Season 5. Takes place after New Year's but prior to Maca telling Zulema that she quits. I wrote this to make El Oasis make sense in my own head, because while the Zurena interactions were on point, the story-line was total crap. I'd prefer not to give too much away here, but I understand that people like to know what they are getting themselves into, especially given the length of this work. So I will say this... This is written as a sort of stream-of-consciousness piece that takes a dive into Zulema's psyche as she navigates a meaningful day and reflects on herself and her relationship with Maca. It's written from Zulema's perspective, and truthfully second-person usually isn't my favorite, but it just felt right for this story. So for those of you who find that approach awkward, I hope you will still give it a chance. This is the first fic I have ever written, so feedback is truly appreciated. And since I couldn't get the d@mned Dedication option to work, I will add that here as well- This fic is dedicated to my little fried shrimp who inspired me to write it, encouraged me to publish it, helped me with the Spanish bits, acted as the world's greatest sounding board, and without whom it would not have ever happened. The "Fallen Angel" is a story that is completely inside of my head, so it's original, so I am grateful if no one copy it. You can take it as an inspiration, but then please let me know so I can write your story on my book as I expect you to do the same, It's a win-win. Middle school teaches you something close to the misery of high school. High school is the last acceptable happiness you will ever have. High school was the preview of college. If you eat all your popcorn in the preview, being in the movies won't reach up to the standards. If your popcorn fell, you're done.
