Scrambled thoughts. Staggered breaths. Strained vision. Slurred speech. Stiff limbs. Speeding heart beats. All these factors occur during a panic attack. These factors are known all too well by, Ivy Collins.

Panic attacks are all too real for Ivy. She lives in a world that she can't escape. Her past constantly haunts her. No matter how hard she tries, she just doesn't have the strength to get through her dark world alone anymore. Her only friend turned on her. Leaving her abandoned in the darkest parts of her mind.
But when a new boy moves to Ivy's school, she may just have caught a glimpse of the life-line she so desperately needs. Can he help her swim through her struggles of coming to terms with her past tragedies and help her become stronger? Or will she drown in her thoughts and screams that she isn't worth saving from herself?
