It's been 5000 years since it happened, but it feels like it was just yesterday that my heart was ripped out and stabbed again and again by the very person who captured it. Now with a new life, new people and a new beginning... What can I do?! Humans make it look so easy. I can't forget it, us, HIM... What we had was special, but he killed me and now I'm nothing but an emotionless zombie of a person. A sad excuse and a waste of space. Even though I'm like this, some part of me still holds onto hope. Hope that I can find happiness that will last until I am reborn. Hope that I will find love once more... But, one can only hope. .................................................................... Sky Masons is a girl of many weird things, but she is special and in an unusual way. The only thing is that she wants people to like her for who and what she is, but when they do find out or she shows them... they become scared of her power and strength. For over 5000 years, she has been wondering the world alone. All she wants is a friend who will love her to the ends of the universe... In fact, he is banned from doing just that. But he's always dreamed of being a powerful mage and fighting against the evil monsters, joining a guild and traveling the three continents. So on his eighteenth birthday, he leaves, not knowing how to take care of himself or how he will face any *monsters.* Formed into a "party" early, with three other members--a rogue, archer, and warrior, he begins his exploration. The monsters are no joke, even with his newfound abilities gained from the goddess' avatar. Rule number one: don't die (or else you'll turn into a ghost). Rule number two: get good enough to join a guild. That's the only way to fight stronger bosses, and to maybe defeat bosses that have never been conquered before. As Hope grows stronger, he gains notice from one of the most revered elders, and he unlocks a secret of the goddess. One that involves a brother god, someone who still might be alive, who may be the reason for the havoc in Blossom World. ... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. As I transcribe it here, I have tried to update it a bit and give the characters/story more depth than what I had when I was younger. Hopefully it all gets pulled together!

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence. No one will believe it was me who disappeared into a fence and appeared on the other side of school. I stare at my brother. He made eye contact with me, confirming my suspicions. We both saw it. Whoever that was is like us. "Did you just see that?" I ask "You're that person my brother and I saw," He says. Oh no... Why then? "Wait! You're-" Completed just editing. (Don't be too harsh please)

And after they find out they are send to the Elemental Academy to find what power they have and also to perfect it. Melanie Grace was one of those few people who got her power a few days after she turned 17. And thus was send to the Elemental Academy and has to stay there till she has mastered her power....or powers? So what power or powers will Melanie get? Will it be one of the rare elements or the sub elements? And will she make friends at her new school while finding out things about her that even she didn't know? And maybe even fall in love? Every 100 years there's supposed to be a new one of us. But the newest one vanished when the world needed him most. Now people, are either fearful of us or hate us it sounds like. He was really supposed to be the next one, there's only supposed to be one of us, but there's two. They call me a glitch, I'll be able to learn all different elements just like my brother, but also I'm the only one who has some form of touchable body even when I'm in the spirit world. I can leave my body and let it walk around like a ghost. Maybe we've been in the ice for 100 years maybe less they don't exactly specify how long we've really been in there. But, I break away, I know his uncle, and I'd met his father. But the prince, even when I haven't met him in human form before he's my best friend, but if he knew who my brother was, and could track him down.... I hate to think what could happen. No robots in houses, but workhouses instead. Telekinetic pencils... that's possible, if you are gifted with the power of telekinesis. There are dark truths hidden behind closed doors, that only few know. Truths that if they got out, would bring the downfall of the government. A government that has been deceiving people for generations. But they haven't been as careful as they thought, because 100 years ago, one guy found out their secrets. 100 years ago, one guy started the rebellion that would bring about the end. From burning books, rewriting history and breaking human rights, this government will stop at nothing to make it seem that they are doing good. But people have had enough, the secret came out before. It's only a matter of time until it happens again. This time by a group of people that no one expected. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Armed only the powers they were born with, the group do everything they can to discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But many have tried and failed, do they really stand a chance? Alexander doesn't think so, but his main concern is finding his sister, Rosia.

I'm the kind of girl who keeps her own secrets. I'm in high school and I still believe fairies....because I believe I am one. I've never had REAL magic but I can control wind spirit, and speak to her. Others believed along with me...but they always end up forgetting, or leaving me because they think it's just a game. I've been by myself since 5th grade. Now the Great Tree said it's time to train four other girls because another girl has taken over the Spirit of Storms. When she does that...I can't control my own powers...the wind spirit. How am I I supposed to get others to believe in fairies and magic when I'm just starting high school.
