Shinigami Washitakeo had just lost everything. His mother, who was brutally beaten to death in front of his eyes and his boyfriend, shot to death just for being in that wrong place at the wrong time. Leaving behind all his friends in America, the 16-year-old travels all the way back to Japan where he was initially born.

He attends the same school his mother used to go to when she was young. A place called: Karasuno High School.

There isn't much to the school looking from the outside in, but the people Shinigami meets somehow wiggle their ways into his heart, breaking down the insecurities built up over the two tragic deaths only months ago. However, just as things begin to look brighter for the male, the same people who took all he had away from him in the past return, seeking what they had yet to achieve before.

Will Shinigami die protecting them, or will he simply give in for their safety.

One can only hope for the best.
