Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak. "God made everyone perfect, right? Then why is my existence a sin." Nick is a trans boy who is just trying to be himself. But sadly not everyone excepts him that way. His parents try really hard to get him to be a girl and after he got into a fight at school he has to go to detention where he meets a boy called Devin. While his own view about himself is challenged, he finds himself touching rock bottom. But Nick is just trying to be accepted as himself, Unapologetically. This is a story written for pride month 2024. Don't worry, I did do research about being trans, but if you are a trans person, and there is anything you feel like isn't right or lacking in this story, feel free to let me know!
