Those who are invited to the Meeting has to break the curfew-and people will do it for prizes, glory, fame. A select few get chosen for the games. There's only one rule, though: you need ownership of Pokémon. And that requirement breaks the biggest rule of the academy. For Pokémon isn't needed when the gifted individuals of three Houses have their own powers derived from the elements. Faust, son of the head chairman, is surprised to see the transfer student admitted on the first night without any prerequisites. Yet the transfer student-and his acquaintances-have a different, independent schedule in their mind-one that concerns exploiting the head chairman, and unraveling a conspiracy behind the whole infrastructure of the academy.
