Ghoulification is a curse passed by way of a human consuming the blood or flesh of an existing Ghoul. Thus turning them into a horrible, corpse-eating and blood-thirsty monster that is able to blend in and live among humans with little to no detection. However, over the past hundred or so years, Ghouls have become a dying species. Everyday, their numbers dwindle and it is becoming harder and harder for the curse to create anymore Ghouls before it ends up killing the human in the long and grueling process.
Keelen Preece is one of the last of this dying species. Newly turned and mourning the loss of his beloved wife, a Ghoul woman known simply as Manchi and the very person who turned him; Keelen is struggling to cope with his newfound life and the baggage his wife left behind upon her passing...
