This wasn't what Katie Alexander believed in, until her parent's accident when she was only 12, and the moment her life changed drastically. She had gained the ability to see and communicate with ghosts from the past. Things from the dead came to her and disturbed her to help them get their revenge or to fulfil their last dying wishes so that they could cross over to the other side.


Teaming up with Ivan Carriger, who could sense ghosts habitats; Kurt Andersen, who had the keen ability to find their residues; and Frank Lyal, who is a technological expert; and finally Laura Thompson, a ghost intent on helping Kate; who must help them with her power to either get rid of the evil ghosts haunting her new small town or help the better ones to pass onto their next life. 

Filled with thrilling suspense, firm friendships, light romance and creepy backgrounds this story revolves around four teens and a friendly ghost getting rid of the roots of evil in their community and helping the citizens of the small town of Stranford live a peaceful life.

Antique store owner Liz brings home a Victorian taxidermy hound from auction, unwittingly unleashing dark forces on her wife and son. ***** Nat Loman has finally married the love of her life, Liz, and is getting used to her role as stepmother to Liz's 5-year-old son, Liam. The Loman family runs a bustling antique business so they attend a sale where a striking, black taxidermied hound is up for auction. Liz picks it up for the business, but it ends up being stored in their home, where Nat notices strange things occurring. She quickly discovers the past residents had died violently. Then she hears from a friend about the myth of "the devil's dog", a hound that perches in the shadows, tearing families apart from the inside. Soon, people around the Lomans are dying, and Liz is changing, darkening. It's up to Nat to save the woman she loves from the darkness closing in, and to save Liam from danger no matter what she has to sacrifice.
