Sacrilege
Evelyn, a successful yet reclusive businesswoman, joins a group trek into the wilderness despite her disdain for people. When they stumble upon a decayed chapel hidden in the woods, strange things begin to happen. Unseen forces prey on their darkest fears and secrets, driving the group toward madness. As paranoia builds and people begin to disappear, Evelyn must uncover the truth about the chapel's sinister power-before it consumes them all. TW: Warning: This novel contains graphic depictions of violence, extreme gore, themes of suicide, rape, and sex. It also explores sensitive topics related to religion that may be disturbing to some readers. Please take heed: this is a work of fiction, and all characters and places are entirely imagined. If you dare to continue past this point, be prepared to face the kind of terror that will make you reconsider why you ever thought diving into a book by yours truly was a good idea. Blackwood Academy
Sixteen-year-old Evelyn doesn't belong here. Sent away to Blackwood Academy, a school designed to "fix" troubled minds, she's forced to take pills, follow strict rules, and remain under constant supervision. But she doesn't need fixing-at least, not in the way they think. The people here aren't trying to help her. They're trying to control her. The moment she swallows her first pill and follows the eerie blue line to her dorm, reality distorts. Hallways shift. Shadows whisper. Her mind is slipping, but she refuses to give in. The next morning, when a new nurse tries to force another dose down her throat, she does the only thing that feels right-she makes him swallow the pills instead. And when he stops breathing, she realizes something terrifying... Killing feels right. Now, one body isn't enough. As the academy tightens its grip, so does her hunger for revenge. If they wanted her to be a monster, they just gave her the perfect excuse to become one. But is she truly insane? Or is there something much darker lurking beneath the surface of Blackwood Academy? The blue line leads to safety. But for Evelyn, it leads to blood.Terminé

Though she returns, nothing in her life is the same. Her family has vanished without a trace. The home she has spent more torturous yet joyful moments in, the closest thing to home, destroyed and left in rubble. Her best friends, her brother, her own daughter, missing without so much as a trail. No one left to help her, console her, tell her everything will be okay. Within the span of five months, Evelyn has managed to rise back to her feet, but she's dropped her old life. Temporarily. Changing her hair style, and name, she's confided in people eligible to help her. But per usual, she's ultimately bound to making enemies. Creating a new enemy was not on her agenda, especially not one that she is agreeing to marry. After getting into a situation she can't seem to get herself out of, she is forced to stay in the same house as someone she hates as much as he hates her. But as time drags on, the line between love and hate seems to blur. Forcing herself to focus on her main objective, she attempts to limit as much time with him as possible. But living in the same house, despite its rather large build, she's bound to run into him by chance. Evelyn will do anything to save her family, as they had done many occasions before-for her. Even if it means destroying her own happiness in the process. {MATURE LANGUAGE} TW -Violence -Rape/sexual assault -Kidnapping -Drugs -Gore/torture -Suicide thoughts/attemptTerminé
