Every transmigrator aimed to get the 'Protagonist' position, which is only exclusive to a few numbers of lucky characters. The Protagonist's position is considered as the highest award a character could get, excluding the freedom rights and benefits as a plus on the position package. So it has been a goal for everyone to strive hard in finishing missions to get enough points for a level up.
Except for Jin Wei.
Jin Wei only used his points to get the lowest character position that nobody wanted - Mob Character Z. While everyone is leveling up, the old transmigrator only wished to become a nobody in a story in order to reach his goal of achieving a rather normal life. He was able to succeed and had started his journey as the Mob Character Z.
Little did he know that as he lowered his level, somebody from the highest position only wished to rule the world in order the grasp all the treasures. Of course, this includes the lives of all mob characters, from A up to his beloved Z.

But he still sees the hope in others which is the reason why he has a charm of his own, his innocence and kindness is what makes him special and this is the reason why he ended up attracting a beast. In other novels, the plot got messed up because of other people while Shi Shen, the male protagonist messed up his own plot before others even had the chance to do it.
