AUTHOR'S NOTE: Basically, in this fanfic, they failed in the war. And Naruko is given another chance. This fanfiction is a slow-progressing one, mostly showing Naruko's childhood at first, and I'll be covering some moments that happened off-screen in the manga/anime.
This fanfiction also specifically follows after the Naruto manga. So sorry to disappoint, in case you might be expecting to see some anime-only characters. This is also my first time writing about anything (other than Fairy Tail) so yeah... again, I deeply apologize in advance if I make some mistakes.
I'll try my best to reply to any comments, and I'll be willing to listen to any opinions or suggestions. Please be nice to me, though. (I actually received some really rude criticism in AO3, so I suppose I got a little sensitive, especially since I started this just for the enjoyment of it.) I'm usually on-hiatus but I'll make sure to update from time to time. (Recently, I've been updating about 4500+ worded chapters once or twice a month).
