HollowClan and CypressClan have dwelled as neighbors in peace for many moons. One would not venture so far as to label them allied forces, however, their lives are serene and as free of quarrel as one could get.

Late leaf-fall brings with it a foul shift in happenings and environment that neither clan looks forward to annually. Twolegs are annoyingly abundant during this time, raiding and stalking the forests with their hunting party and fearsome dogs. However, nothing could have prepared either clan for one tragedy that would come to alter the lives of many in the moons to come.

Death is a strange thing. It closes the door on one, yet can open so many more for others as a result. If only those doors led to greater, more purified things in life.
