Mature
Ali Torres left the small town she grew up in a long time ago. Behind her was an entire life she has all but forgotten, parts of which she did so gladly. However, one day things start to happen, things that Ali can't explain. The echoing laugh won't stop playing in her head and filling her heart with a sense of dread that she does not understand. Even moreso though, is the overwhelming feeling that something, or rather someone very important was missing from her life.

She left Derry, the friends she made, and the boy she loved, to become a distant figure that played at the edges of her memory. None of it was clear, though she knew it was once there. And now, it was time for her to finally remember what she swore to never forget that summer so many years ago.

It was time for Ali to come home.

Nixon is the 3rd book in the Broken Series. (Ryan is the 1st, Brynn is the 2nd) Nixon leaves rehab early because he can't deal with being there anymore. His sister Kelis finds someone in need of a roommate so he moves in with the girl and gives her his middle name, Lucas. He quickly becomes addicted to the girl and once he gets one taste he's done for. He warns her about his past, about his name, but she ignores all the red flags, not realizing exactly how intertwined she is with the people from his past. He becomes enamored with her, feels like she was made for him while still battling the demons of his past and soon it all becomes too much for him to handle. He makes a heartbreaking decision, thinking it's what's best for both of them and everything changes.
