Collision (an Avengers fan fiction)

Pain. That's all they have ever known. Ever since the nationally-feared pair of mutants joined Loki in the Battle of New York, S.H.I.E.L.D has brought them nothing but pain. Now, as Evadine lays dying and surrounded by enemies, she decides that S.H.I.E.L.D will bring her no more pain. But what she does not know is that while her and Loki are planning to take down S.H.I.E.L.D, her closest friend, who can't even remember who she is, is devoting her life to them.

Thrown into a dying government organization with ties to their biggest enemy, Artemisia takes on the role of an Avenger and tries to shake the trail of tragedy that always falls in her wake. However, falling for the man she tried to kill does nothing to stop the endless pile of bodies that shadow her every step.

In only a few short weeks, the friends are set against each other. Striving for the upper hand, they'll give everything it takes to shut the other down. Everything has changed, and the Collision may never be repaired.
